Charles Weinlich
Ault, Oct. 11, 1934 — Charles Weinlich, age 69, died of ulcers of the stomach in the Greeley hospital at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Weinlich was born in Vienna, Austria in 1860 and moved to the United States with his parents when he was 10 years old. The family located in Polk county, Nebr., where the period of his boyhood and youth was passed and his education acquired. In 1886 he moved to Calhan, Colo., where he filed on 160 acres of land and later bought another additional form of 160 acres. He was a prominent sheep man.
For the past 5 years he has made his home with his sister, Mrs. J.N. Myers and family. Mr. Weinlich was in failing health for several years and became seriously ill on Monday. He was taken to the Greeley hospital Tuesday morning and only lived a few hours.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. J.N. Myers and several nieces and nephews including niece Grace Conarroe of Calhan, Colo.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Armstrong mortuary in Eaton, the Rev. L.W. Coffman officiating. Interment was made at the Ault cemetery.
