The Conarroe, Weinlich, Morris, Fissel and Smith families can be described in one word: Adventurous. After arrival in the late 1600s to the shores of New Jersey, the families ventured westward to the Ohio Valley in the late 1700s then into the wide open ranges of the West in the 1800s. A highly self-sufficient and independent lot, these pioneer families endured trying times and immense challenges, but persevered in their quest for the American Dream.
